Preschool Program for Little Learners
All Pooh Bear Childcare and Preschool staff work with YoungStar – “Wisconsin’s Childcare Quality Rating and Improvement System” and local school districts. These programs help our staff stay up-to-date and implement proven childcare practices into our lesson plans. This also ensures all of our teachers are consistent across all of our classrooms.
VASD Pre-K
The Verona Area Pre-K is committed to providing an excellent early school experience by supporting quality classrooms and organizing quality events. The Mission of the Verona Area Pre-K Partnership in Early Learning is to meet the diverse needs of four-year-olds in a safe and nurturing environment through developmentally appropriate experiences creating a foundation for lifelong learning.

El Programa de Pre-K del Área de Verona está comprometido a brindar una experiencia escolar temprana mediante el apoyo de los salones de clase y a la organización de eventos de calidad. La Misión del Programa de Prescolar de 4 Años/Pre-Kdel Área de Verona es cumplir las necesidades diversas de los niños de 4 años en un entorno seguro y adecuado para el desarrollo por medio de las experiencias apropiados para desarrollarse y crear una base para el aprendizaje a lo largo de sus vidas.
MCPASD 4K
The Middleton-Cross Plains 4K program is a voluntary, comprehensive child development program available to all four-year-old children and their families within the Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District (MCPASD). MCPASD 4K is a play-based program designed to nurture the social, emotional and early numeracy and literacy skills of four-year-old children. MCPASD 4K is implemented using a community-collaborative model that builds on existing resources within our community. Partnerships between our elementary schools, child care centers and preschools are used to provide high quality and inclusive early childhood education for four-year-olds.

We focus on age-appropriate learning such as language, reading, social skills and decision making to help prepare your child for kindergarten. JumpBunch® is an Add-On Program for kids 18 months plus. It is a mobile program introducing sports, smiles, fitness in a fun way! Your kid will absolutely LOVE the games while developing many physical, mental and healthy habits!
